CMA seeks next Executive Director

The CMA invites applications and nominations for the role of Executive Director—a position that will speak to a collaborative leader inspired by the opportunity to support a plurality of cultural institutions from coast to coast to coast.

Among other responsibilities, the Executive Director will help the sector become more responsive to a range of communities—as cultural institutions have been asked to demonstrate a deep and abiding commitment to spotlighting a mosaic of interests, stories, topics, conversations, narratives, depictions, and matters of historical and contemporary relevance. The Executive Director will also support and advocate for its members across Canada, collaborating with stakeholders and partners (including the federal government), on matters that relate to funding, public policy, and strategic visioning for the future.

Canadian Museums Association is partnering with BIPOC Executive Search to ensure an applicant list that is as diverse and as intersectional as possible. For more information, you can review the posting on the Jobs in Heritage Job Board.
