Registration open for our online event: Foundation and Future and the CMA Special General Meeting on bylaws

OTTAWA, November 27, 2020 — Foundation and Future is only a week away! This FREE virtual event is open to all. We will cover important foundational issues such as best practices in governance and important trends in the museum sector as we look toward the future.

• Learn about the role of governance, as well as the importance of conducting governance reviews
• Get important tips and best practices for good governance for all museums and related organizations
• Hear about issues in the museum sector and what’s on the horizon

Within the Foundation and Future program on Dec. 4, the CMA is holding a Special General Meeting (SGM). This SGM is for the purpose of reviewing, discussing and having a vote on modernized bylaws (questions/voting for CMA members only — visit the member portal for the meeting documents). The CMA’s regular AGM will take place in the Spring.

HOW TO REGISTER

Anyone can register to attend the full Foundation and Future event up until the event begins at https://live.webcastcanada.ca/go/CMA-Dec2020.

CMA members: your registration will happen automatically using the primary e-mail address on your member profile. Members will receive an email from Webcast Canada to confirm. Members with voting rights will receive access information on how to participate in the bylaw amendment discussion and vote during the Special General Meeting.
