Information for employers

Could your organization benefit from hiring additional talent? Hire a young Canadian through the Young Canada Works (YCW) program and receive financial support for your institution!

There are two streams of funding:

  • YCW in Heritage Organizations (YCW-HO): short-term work experience for students
  • YCW at Building Careers in Heritage (YCW-BCH): internships for college or university graduates

YCW is an important investment in the future of the museum industry, creating professional development opportunities for future colleagues, and supports the CMA’s strategic objective to strengthen the museum workforce today and for the future.

Application deadline

Applications for the 2024-2025 program year are due January 19, 2024.
