Understanding Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation


OTTAWA, Ontario, June 23, 2014 -- With Canada's new anti-spam legislation coming into effect on July 1, 2014, the Canadian Museums Association (CMA) has been receiving numerous questions from CMA members regarding how their organisations will be affected. Imagine Canada, a national charitable organization that strengthens and supports Canadian charities and non-profits, has obtained clarification from Industry Canada, and has posted this useful information on their website. The CMA encourages all of its members to consult this valuable resource.
